SJJIF is excited to announce the development of additional special event rule sets to support the evolution of BJJ event opportunities.

SJJIF has put together a health and safety recommendation resource  for re-opening BJJ schools in an effort to support the community and ease some of the challenges BJJ schools may face as they prepare to re-open.

Novel coronavirus, COVID-19, is a new coronavirus that has not been previously identified and seems to be spreading easily and sustainably in the community, according to the CDC. 

There is currently no vaccine to prevent coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) and the best way to prevent illness is to avoid being exposed to this virus. SJJIF recommends that individuals and dojos implement CDC  recommended preventive actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases.

BJJ's huge sucess at the World Police & Fire Games (WPFG) confirms the inclusion of BJJ as an event at the next two WPFG in 2021 WPFG in Rotterdam, England and 2023 WPFG in Winnipeg, Canada.
